Recently, Hit + Run’s new Townhouse Gallery premiered a wondrously stunning installation by Los Angeles artist CRYPTIK.
The exhibition drew the viewer into an introspective world filled with images of Buddha, Ganesha, Gandhi and mantras written in CRYPTIK's signature "ancient script" letterforms. Incense and sage filled the air as viewers gazed serenely on 40+ objects of art at the Opening Night party during the monthly Venice Art Crawl.
The works in the artist’s compendium stem from his eastern philosophy series, and are part of what the artist virtuously refers to as “The CRYPTIK Movement.” The CRYPTIK Movement is a public art campaign dedicated to advocating humanity to evolve toward a greater awareness through the use of compelling, iconic imagery.
Art and merchandise for sale (made exclusively for this show) include limited edition 18” x 18” prints on 130lb Cougar white - edition of 50; the exclusive HIT+RUN x CRYPTIK “Halo” collaboration T-shirt (only 50 were hand-printed by Hit + Run); and limited CRYPTIK T-shirts, sweatshirts, 24k gold buttons & sticker packs.
